Forthcoming Events

Following our packed-out return to St George’s Hall in April 2023 and our beautiful evening of choral music at Bradford’s Ukrainian Centre in the summer, we look forward to our 2023-2024 season. We start with Will Todd’s Mass in Blue and music by Duke Ellington, Anna Thorvaldsdottir and a world premiere by Lillie Harris, followed by our hugely popular Christmas concert with the award-winning Rothwell Temperance Band.
In March 2024 we return to St George’s Hall with the Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra for Mendelssohn’s epic oratorio – Elijah.
Tickets for all events organised by BFCS can be purchased through Ticket Source. Head to Bradford Theatres website for St George’s Hall tickets.
Adult tickets: £20, Over 60s: £18. Reduced ticket prices for groups of 5 or more, FREE for people under 18, with concessions for under 30s or those on a low income (self-assessed – no one will review your ticket selection).

Carmina Burana – Vocal Workshop

March 3, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 7:30 pm

This workshop is now sold out – please do join us for the FREE informal performance at 6pm or book tickets for our full concert performance on Saturday March 30th.
Join us on Sunday March 3rd for another of our celebrated vocal workshops, which have been praised for combining a relaxed, friendly and informal atmosphere with brilliant musical content. You’ll learn some great music, enjoy insights, tips and humour from our Musical Director Tom Leech, and pick up new vocal ideas along the way. Some music-reading ability and a little previous choral experience will help you get the most out of the afternoon. Carmina Burana, which has been described as ‘about drinking, food and sex, next to the spiritual aspect of course’ is a fabulous piece to sing, packed with tunes and drama!

Vocal workshop 2-5pm – Free for those aged 30 and under, or on a very low income (otherwise it’s £12)

Informal perfomance 6-7pm – Invite your family and friends – the concert is free!
