We are very sorry to announce that our March 28th performance of Bach’s St Matthew Passion is postponed until later in the year – we are working to secure a date in the autumn where we can rebook Baroque In The North, Diocese of Leeds Music Bradford Catholic Youth Choir and the outstanding soloists. Our preview concert at Cliffe Castle on March 22nd is also cancelled. Tickets can be refunded or used for the rearranged performance.
We apologise to our audience and particularly to our musicians and members, both amateur and professional. Stay tuned to our facebook and twitter for details of our summer events and 20-21 season.
BFCS’s 2019-2020 season is full of contrasting delights, drama and passion. In November we perform a brilliant musical drama by Paul Mealor (whose music was performed at Prince William’s wedding) alongside John Rutter’s Gloria; December brings Christmas Old and New; in March we perform one of classical music’s greatest masterpieces, Bach’s St Matthew Passion and in summer, we bring you Faith, Passion and Betrayal, featuring Purcell’s opera Dido and Aeneas.
Reduced ticket prices for groups of 5 or more, and FREE for people under 30 or on a low income.
Tickets for all events organised by BFCS can be purchased through Ticket Source.
Access to Price Hall: The main entrance is up several steps – there is a side entrance with level access, there is then some distance to walk or use a wheelchair to the Hall. Please email bradfordfestivalchoralsociety.org.uk for more details.
Aged 30 or under, or on a low income? Tickets for all our concerts are FREE!
