Like many arts and community organisations, we had to react quickly to the challenges of lockdown in March 2020. We started online rehearsals after just a fortnight, and began to use ‘virtual choir’ projects to give our zoom rehearsals a sense of purpose. Our YouTube channel showcases these recordings – made from editing together individual choir members recorded submissions to recreate the sound of the choir – and also contains vocal resources, from warm-ups and exercises to keep your voice working well, to performances of our concert repertoire by choirs around the world. In addition, we regularly premiere material from our extensive recording archive – visit the From the archive playlist to explore these.
Here are some examples – visit the channel for more, and please subscribe, leave a comment and hit the ‘like’ button!
