Sing with Us
BFCS is currently welcoming new singers, both new and experienced, particularly sopranos and tenors.
Our aim is to have 150 singers in the ranks by 2012, an ambitious target we are well on our way to meeting. Why not add to the number and join us and contribute your voice to the Bradford choral sound.
You'll experience:
- A choir that continues to grow and attract new talent.
- At least 4 concerts a year with professional soloists, orchestras and bands in fantastic venues.
- Singing and learning about the best music ever written.
- Expert tuiton and vocal coaching, with enjoyable and productive rehearsals.
- Exciting future projects including a future CD recording and development of a youth choir.
- Making new friends in our choir of over 100 voices.
- Being part of our amazing 150 year history.
Rehearsals take place in the hall at St Peter's Church (Saltaire) every Wednesday evening during term time from 7.30pm-9.30pm.

Membership is by way of a short and informal voice check after you've been along to a few rehearsals.
We understand that people can find this nerve-wracking and its aim is to provide positive and encouraging tips on developing your voice - not to try and catch you out or reduce you to tears!
There is also a very reasonable annual subscription fee (reductions for students and those experiencing financial hardship).
