Thomas Leech, our Musical Director since 2008, enjoys a growing reputation as a dynamic and passionate advocate of choral singing. He combines his role at BFCS with the posts of Choral Director for the Diocese of Leeds and and a busy schedule as a freelance organist. He has recently been appointed Director of the Diocese of Leeds' acclaimed Schools Singing Programme, a post he takes up in January 2012.
Tom graduated from Cambridge University in 2001, where he held the organ scholarship at Downing College, and subsequently held posts at Norwich and Ripon Cathedrals. His playing has been broadcast on BBC1, Radio 2, Radio 3 and Classic FM, he has made a number of recordings and given recitals at venues across the UK, including Westminster Abbey, St. Paul's Cathedral and King's College, Cambridge.
His work as a choral conductor has taken him across Europe and the United States, and has ranged from 'grass-roots' singing with children to directing some of the great masterpieces of classical music.

Margaret is BFCS's President and formally took on the role in the late summer of 2010.
She has been the Chairman of the Local Government Assocation since 11 September 2008, having carried out the role of Vice Chairman and Leader of the Conservative Group at the LGA since July 2005. She was first elected to Bradford Metropolitan District Council May 1986 and became its first female Leader in May 2000. A former teacher, Margaret continues to maintain a keen interest in educational issues.
Margaret has a keen interest in classical music and is delighted to be President of BFCS.
