Join us for an afternoon’s workshop (2-5pm) and evening performance (6pm) of Fauré’s serene Requiem under the leadership of our Musical Director, Thomas Leech. In addition we explore Ivor Gurney’s The Trumpet, an elegaic setting of Edward Thomas’ poetry and a response to the loss and trauma of the First World War, which the composer experienced first hand in the trenches.
We are returning to the historic and beautiful All Saints’ Church, Little Horton, whose warm welcome guarantees a special atmosphere for our events. Advance booking for singers strongly recommended – the cost is £12 in advance, or £15 on the day. It’s FREE if you are aged 30 or under, or on a low income (but you still need to book your place).
You can book via TicketSource or, if you prefer, by post. Download the postal booking form here: Come and Sing Faure Requiem booking form
