Forthcoming Events

BFCS’s 2021-2022 season is full of contrasting delights – we’re thrilled to be back performing in person.

Our season launches with an evocative programme of contemporary choral music, from the shimmering beauty of Eriks Esenvalds Stars and Long Road, to the beguiling textures and drama of Whitacre’s Cloudburst. This is complemented by music by Lili Boulanger and Reena Esmail and a great team of guest musicians and soloists.

We welcome back Rothwell Temperance Band for our Christmas concert, and in March sing Bach’s mighty St Matthew Passion in a new English translation.  In summer 2022 we try our hand at opera with Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, together with madrigals by Barbara Strozzi and Bach’s beautiful cantata 196.

Reduced ticket prices for groups of 5 or more, and FREE for people under 30 or on a low income.

Tickets for all events organised by BFCS can be purchased through Ticket Source.

Access to Price Hall:
The main entrance is up several steps – there is a side entrance with level access, there is then some distance to walk or use a wheelchair to the Hall. Please email for more details.
